When i was a kid i never thought i would visit a place outside my home country. While growing up i wanted to see the world, the beautiful world. I had seen in movies, expansive colorful landscapes, ancient cities, cultural diversity etc etc. Foreign land always excites. We won't be as excited to visit a new place in our own town as we are to visit a new country. So it was like a dream come true for me when reached Canada. To be honest i have not visited many places in my own home country but i wanted to see all of Canada. Its strange how we get that feeling of independence in a new place, at least i had that feeling. I was among strangers and i felt i could do anything, go anywhere. So that is when i visited Montreal. Its a beautiful city. The Saint Amable and Saint Vincent Streets are not just for pedestrians, they let artists and craftsmen to show their work. The view is magnificent. One can wander around the streets and enjoy beauty. And then there is Notre Dame Bascilica- the grandeur of this church is out of the world. You cant take your eyes of the walls, the roof or anything at all inside it. They did not let me take photos inside but i can still recall the splendor, that lushness i have in my memories. I wanted to stay there forever, even now any given day i will be happy to move there.
